In The Recording Studio!

Here is a peek into our recording session at Platinum Studios in Bountiful, Utah!  Our producer, Jim Funk, was fantastic as we recorded Carolyn's original song, "Oklahoma Prairie."

Looking Back

Last week we had our first chance to talk about and listen to feedback 

from our performance at USU's Kaysville Farmer's Market.  

We are working on putting together a video collage of our show.

So check back to see some of the songs we sang.  

The director of the Farmer's Market was thrilled with our performance.  

He said we are one of the best they've had
and would love to have us come back next year.

and we were hoping that each song 

would touch, uplift or bring a smile in some way.

One Horizon's first photo shoot

We were so busy practicing yesterday we didn't want to stop, but we knew that if we didn't we would miss our opportunity to get some pictures of the three of us against the backdrop of a beautiful horizon.  So we stopped in the middle of practice to head off to a location in Layton, Utah.  To stay within a budget, we enlisted the help Catrina Baum's son, Dallin.  This 11 year old boy has only had a couple of photography classes.  Some of the shots that he took are amazing.  Take a look....

One Horizon Reunion 2014 Day #1

We had such a blast yesterday coming together and practicing in person what we have been planning over the phone and practicing over garage band for months.  The songs came together so quickly.  IT WAS AMAZING!!

Kaysville Farmers Market

We are so excited to announce that One Horizon will be performing this Thursday night at the Kaysville Farmer's Market.  What a great event to include in the One Horizon Reunion 2014.

It will be at the USU Botanical Garden's from 6-7pm in Kaysville, Utah.  The address is 875 South 50 West.  So come join us!

June Update

Carolyn, Catrina and Brenda have been meeting over the phone almost every week preparing for their musical reunion in August.  What a great strength they have been able to be to one another in more ways than one.  Friendship as well as shared musical passion is a great blessing to behold.
If you would like to see Carolyn and Catrina perform tomorrow they will be singing at the Kaysville Art and Music Fest.  Catrina will be singing lead vocals with Carolyn as backup vocalist.  There performance time is at 3:40 at Kaysville's Heritage Park just northeast of 200 south and Main Street.  Coming from I-15 just get off on 200 south and head east for the mountains.  After you pass main street the park will be on the left.  They will be performing on stage #2.  Looking forward to seeing you there!
